Radiator cap on 1934 Ford

1 Attachment(s)
I have a 1934 Ford pickup. This week, it started leaking some around the radiator cap. I lost about 2 qts of fluid over about 20 miles of driving. However, the temp gauge was never close to hot. This radiator cap is just a ring of rubber that fits onto the top of the radiator. I have included a photo as an attachment.
Is there a pressurized radiator cap available for this truck? Thanks, Bill

There are "pressurized" kits available IF that is the route you want to go.....Is the big brass cup washer behind the rubber gasket?......ALSO there are "rebuild" kits you can buy for your cap as well. Third Gen Automotive would be a prime source

try filling it only to about the top of the tubes, not full.

Removing the screw in the cap will allow you to disassemble and replace the rubber seal.
