34 Glove Box Install
 

I'm having trouble figuring out where this metal bracket goes? Does it fit inside the top of the cardboard glove box....helping to hold up the top? Does it fit on the bottom, under the outside of the cardboard box?

The top .You will need the clip that the spring loaded ball on the door pops into.Missing in your pic.

Thank you....I thought maybe that center hole was for the door latch clip. Just wasn't sure about the bottom two mounting holes that have a slot cut into the cardboard? Seems like they need some extra support, like a washer to help hold?

I can't remember as it has been a long time since I did this.Most likely yes a flat washer ,lock washer and a square nut like in your pic.Probably install the screw ,flat washer,lockwasher and nut assembled loosely then slip in the glove box ,adjust and tighten all down.
