I don't recognize the marking on the side, maybe not US ? They used a lot of Chevy panels for radio trucks, never seen a Ford

Commonwealth troops at war in '39. Canada Ford was producing war contracts in '38 even. My avatar is '42 Canadian Ford. Newc

That is a 1940 unless the front sheet metal has been swapped. I like the grill guard. The truck has the opening windshield found on many military Ford trucks of the era, evident by the top mounted windshield wiper. Is this a right hand drive truck, or did they install a passenger side wiper?
