1932 Ford Bumper big Knuckle I'm trying to figure out the visual difference between 1932 Ford bumpers. One I have for my 3 window build was said to be a big knuckle bumper. But I'm not sure what to look for to determine if there's any difference between the six bumpers I have.
Could anyone post a picture to help show the difference to guide me and I'm sure others along as well? Thanks in advance Ronnieroadster |
Re: 1932 Ford Bumper big Knuckle Ronnie
You've hit the one area I don't have pictures BUT the center "rib" or for the purposes of this post the center knuckle is much larger than the top and bottom "knuckle" so to speak comparatively speaking. The "small" knuckle bumper....the "center" knuckle is very close to the same size as the top and bottom knuckle. You can also tell repro bumpers by the "flat washer" inside the roll of the ends at the center knuckle. I can take a picture of mine when I get home IF you need? |
