Re: real mechanics

Three Stooges was actually six at various times.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Stooges

Quote:

Six total Stooges appeared over the act's run (with only three active at any given time); Moe Howard (born Moses Horwitz) and Larry Fine (born Louis Feinberg) were mainstays throughout the ensemble's nearly 50-year run, while the "third stooge" was played in turn by Shemp Howard (born Samuel Horwitz), Curly Howard (born Jerome Horwitz), Shemp Howard again, Joe Besser, and "Curly Joe" DeRita (born Joseph Wardell).
The "Curly" above may be Joe Besser. The looks were similar - which is the point.

Nope. It's "Curley Joe" DeRita, who looked similar to Joe Besser.

I think these were the guys who worked on the Model A I am presently trying to straighten out. Same expert touch and use of the proper tools.

Obviously a staged photo. The Model T's were much easier to destroy and cheaper at the time.
