What liquid would be best to use to bench test a carburetor?

Re: Technical

If you are referring to a leakage test, filling the bowl with gasoline and placing the carb on a white paper towel overnight and check the fuel level and look for stains on the towel is how I've done it.

I’ve read a few times to use rubbing alcohol since it dries quickly and completely. Haven’t tried it yet

I've used mineral spirits and a paper towel to check for leaks.

Use Maker's Mark. It helps pass the time while watching a dumb carburetor all night.
