Which fuel pump rod

Can someone confirm which fuel pump push rod is correct for the early 1935 intake manifold? I am assuming the longer of the two since the intake boss is taller than the late style? I have the 8-7/8 long rod, which from all I am seeing is the correct length rod for the early intake.

Yes the Early intake takes the longer rod
