GAZ pistons and connecting rods Just curious if there is any value in these. The little history that I have this short block arrived in California in the early seventies. The block was cast July 23rd 1962. I believe the motor had around 5k miles on when I decided to rebuild it with inserts and a high compression head.

Re: GAZ pistons and connecting rods Pretty cool. I saw a GAZ-A in Russia when I was there a few years back in a museum.

Re: GAZ pistons and connecting rods The chances of used rods fitting a different crankshaft would be a bit on the slim side. It would likely require them to be repoured with new babbitt for refitting to a different crank journal size. They have core value but that's about it. The same problem would exist with the used pistons.
