I always roll up a small old hand towel and put it under my neck. Every once in a while something starts leaking and I have a instant shop rag. My creeper also has a built in head rest and I crawl under the car when I want a short nap and my wife thinks I'm hard at work.

At a shop where I worked back in the '70s, one of the mechanics had a big rubber band he used to strap his wrists around a driveshaft so it looked like he was working while taking a nap. Boss caught on and reached in and fired the motor. Poor guy about disassembled himself trying to get undone.

Yes, a lot of years ago when I was using a Model A for regular transportation, I fell asleep under it on a nice summer day. My wife had to wake me for supper.
