1931 Slant Windshield Fordor Lower Left Screw on Upper Floorboard It looks like I’m missing the lower left “nut” for the upper floorboard. Does anyone sell that? What is it called?

Re: 1931 Slant Windshield Fordor Lower Left Screw on Upper Floorboard It's called a Clinch Nut. Brattons has them.

Re: 1931 Slant Windshield Fordor Lower Left Screw on Upper Floorboard They are called D-nuts (or Clinch nuts) of several sizes. For the floors they are 12-24 and are available from suppliers. Not expensive. Get more than you need to have stock for later.
I have been having trouble with them or the screws on my Coupe. See a recent post. Vic |
Re: 1931 Slant Windshield Fordor Lower Left Screw on Upper Floorboard You can find D-nuts easily on Snyder's. Not so easily on Bratton's or on Snyder's.

Re: 1931 Slant Windshield Fordor Lower Left Screw on Upper Floorboard I find that the incorrect screws have been used over the years. I usually try a tap with the correct thread.
