I agree! especially in color!! and so brand new, no consumer/buyer fingerprints on door handles or steering wheels.

That car in front is my family heritage!! as a young youth and back in the USA...ZI, the family car was a '49 Ford sedan. we traveled numerous times back and forth across the US... E-W coast & visa versa. FH V8 engine. Then Dad got a 1951 Ford 4-door sedan. as i remember, the 49 was a coupe.

time marched on, but Dad seemed to be locked into that era. he really liked those cars. and was very keen on the Woodies Station Wagons. I remember he found one he liked while i was in HS... and restored all the side wood to like new condition... hunting in one junkyard after another to source wood or panel items he needed. Soon he had it all looking new and very nice again! a maroonish brown Station Wagon as i remember.

I have this pix of a '49 Ford Woodie pinned up on wall in my shop. i see it all the time and nothing quite like those later 40's and early 50's Fords reminds me of my 'Pop' quite like those cars do. When i see this pix or one similar... i can feel his presence!

I have a handful of old things that remind me of special times or moments... like this here 1947 nickel... minted year i was born.
