38 ford door window felt
 

Hello,getting parts together for our coupe which will need new window channels and felt pieces. I have removed the inside felt from the window garnish molding from one side and stopped as I don't know whether I done wrong. The felt is off but the staples are still in place even after I straightened them out and gently pried with butter knives. Should the staples stay or go?
I need advice as to a vendor and what problems I am going to encounter.
