Oil Addition to Differential
 

Is there a better method for loading oil into the differential without trying to squeeze a bottle of 600w oil into a fill hole that's almost horizontal?

Sure,stick a piece of fuel hose on the squirter end,stick it in the hole,hold the bottle vertical,and squeeze it.

Suction gun is an easy way. Get yourself one from harbor freight. unscrew the guns lid and fill it up, shove the hose into the fill port and push on the plunger. That's how i do it

I found that if you cut the tip on the squeeze bottle pretty short so the opening is large it doesn't take a whole lot of time and effort to get it in.
You could warm the oil in a pan of boiling water to make it flow easier.

Little hand pumps and electric pumps are used to fill the fuel tanks of model airplanes. I wonder if one of those would work. There are big sized pumps for larger airplanes.

I do like crosscut stated: cut the top of the squeeze bottle short and it flows pretty easy.

55 years ago I found my rearend was low of fluid, got some black thick 600w in a quart metal can. It was in the fall a cool, how do I get it in there, found a long hose a funnel and warmed the can on the boiler. Stuck one end in the diff, ran the hose up to the spare tire added the funnel. Poured the warmed black 600w into the funnel and then waited for ever for it to flow down into the differential. Dumb teenager had more time than money LOL
