The Richard Munz collection is being sold tomorrow. Should be quite the show.

Jack, our regional V-8 club group was privileged to visit Richard’s RVM Classics collection in Madison, Wisconsin several years ago. Fabulous collection and a wonderful man. This will be interesting.

Mecum seems to consistently be a bad place to auction early V8's, especially on a weekday

It appears to me that Mecum is more of a GM oriented audience.

I hope that Bad Chad didn't buy it.

Wow. Unless that roadster is a 15 footer, that is a great price. Really surprised by that one.

It’s surprising that they went for so little. I saw a little of the collection for sale today. There are some beautiful cars in it!

It appears that the writing is on the wall. Too bad I'm too old to take advantage of it.:(

The five window has some very edgy chrome on the front bumper. Makes one wonder what else might be edgy.

Me too! If anyone is contemplating a sale waiting for higher prices it probably is not in the stars. I want a 34 coupe so bad it hurts. LOL. Entered a new decade yesterday. Probably not in the stars either!

The "distributor" looks to be a "reproduction". Pictured is an "original". Minor detail I know. NO fan either AND NO 18- heads!!!

Sorry for the picture quality BUT as you see, the heads are stamped 18-6050 and 18-6049

It appears to have a "Standard" speedometer (Not DeLuxe) for one. 3 digit trip meter, should be 4 AGAIN, minor detal....could be the angle of the shot BUT the other fuzzy picture from the right side seem to bear out the fact to me!!!

How do you guys find these? I'm seriously asking. Do you enter Google searches or is there a place that consolidates upcoming auctions?

In less than a year, I'm going to be retired and want to be able to jump on good like that roadster.

I wonder WHY it always seems the "Bad Chads" of the world seem to find the good ones.....ALL I seem to find is the Woody that has been sitting in the orange grove since 1953 OR the 5 window coupe in the garage that has been sitting there since the river next to the house flooded in 1963. OR (True story) the 1935 Lincoln KB convertible coupe that the owner missed the turn and drove about 75 feet out into the St Johns river in the late 30's or early early 40's. They took the car home and rolled it under the car port and let it sit. From where the rims touched the ground to about 18" up from the side of the body had just about completely rusted away. A friend "finally" bought it in the late 7o's....when he was driving it home on the trailer, the first bump he hit it broke in half at the door jamb.
