Spare tire covers available at Classtique I have looked at all of the A parts dealers on the internet for a spare tire cover this winter. They are either listed as discontinued or not listed at all. The only place I have found anything available is Classtique Upholstery. They make them out of a couple of different materials and apparently make them "as ordered" meaning they don't keep any on the shelf. I just ordered mine so not sure how long it will take to get but at least there's a source available if you want one.

Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique I heard Mike speak at the MARC 2024 meet and he said they do each one custom because the range of spare tire sizes (as in the actual width and diameter) is too great. If you make a cover big enough to cover the largest tires, it'll look saggy and awful on the smallest.

Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique That makes sense. I have seen a few that looked really loose and I wondered at the time why the owners didn't tighten them up a little better. I was happy to see they were still available from somewhere!

Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique A local upholstery guy should be able to make one in an hour or two. He's probably got lots of scraps from previous jobs that are big enough to make one.

Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique My friend was a trimmer, and is disabled now.I talked to him about making spare tire covers, and open car arm pads. What shocked me was that while the square feet of materials used in a spare tire cover was small, you have to use a big piece to get it.If you want one piece panels, you have to cut them out of a 3X3 piece of material. Not normally a scrap sized piece. To cut a corner you could use scrap pieces for the back panel, facing the car,but you would have a few seams in it.The only trimmer local to me will make them, time and materials,$85.per hour plus materials. He has done a few,he says to bring him a mounted tire and figure on two hours. He also said if we wanted 10 of them, same size and materials,to be bought all at once,he would charge one hour labor each.

Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique Hi Guy's. Our current lead time on tire covers is 3 weeks or less. It's that long right now because it's cold and flu season. Thanks.
