Nope......it is actually Canadian (from Quebec, Canada). The LaFleur butcher company is still in business and celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2012. Re: French They were shipped without the spare tire. That must be a picture of his fairly new truck and he hasn't taken the time to see his dealer or tire shop for the rubber yet.

Re: French For some reason there was a tire shortage in the US around 1975? cars were shipped with a rim in the trunk for later installation.
