Turlock Swap Meet - January 2025

Will you be there? We're looking forward to seeing everyone. The 58th Annual Turlock Swap Meet is coming up the end of this month. Both Terry Burtz and John Lampl will be there with a display to talk about and answer any questions you have on the re-engineered Burtz Block Engine. They're bringing some extra parts as well and excited to talk about some of the new parts coming soon. Hoping to see you and let Terry Burtz know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Will there be any of the new flywheel housings available for purchase?

Jay Jay, Thanks for your question.

We hope to display the new flywheel housing at the Turlock Swap Meet and talk about how internal changes make it 12x stronger than the original flywheel housings.

The first new flywheel housing made did not pass CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection at the factory, and was not sent to us.

As I write this reply, the second flywheel housing is being inspected and if it passes, it will be sent to me and I will bring it to Turlock. If the new flywheel housing meets the drawing and cosmetic requirements, production will begin.

John Lampl takes care of production, QA, importation, and sales. He will be at Turlock, and you can place your order with him.

Our swap meet space is in the building that has a snack bar, and flush toilets. Steve Serr and Joe Davis are in the same building.

Please stop by, ask questions, find goodies, and have fun.

Actually Steve Serr and myself are in the building across the driveway from the building with the snack bar. I'm in the corner by the roll up door and Steve is a few spaces down on the right side. See you all there! Dan

I'm part of the club that runs the Turlock Swap Meet, so I will be there working all 3 days.

Will they still have it due to fires up North?

If you are talking about the LA fires, those are maybe 300 miles south, don’t affect Turlock at all. I’m not aware of any wildfires that affect Turlock. And actually, there is not a whole lot of anything that would go wildfire there.

I’ll be there. I’m 72 now. Last time I missed the Turlock swap meet I was in high school.
