Okay guys what kind of spark plugs do you guys recommend on these motors I got the distributor figured out and the pertronix unit is on its way next will be spark plugs also I think this fuel pump is bad I need to figure something out there too anybody run electronic fuel pump straight to this mechanical unit with some type of regulator in between to help it out

Fuel pump fix. Remove the the pump drive arm, reinstall the pump, install a 6v or 12v pump fuel pump, and connect to the stock fuel pump. It will work all the time and nobody will know except you.

I am not familiar with Flathead fuel pumps but have seen on other engines where the electric pump was plumbed thru the mechanical pump and the diaphragm sprung a leak, it fills the pan with gasoline. Something to think about.

Yeah good idea
What's the psi on these flathead motors I'll have to get a fuel pressure regulator this way the stock pump doesn't have to much pressure
