Nothing but a heartbreak 1 Attachment(s)
I think it's a 68C with a homemade top

Re: Nothing but a heartbreak Can you imagine the condition of the all-wood body construction after sitting out in the elements like that for who knows how long??? It may be a highly-desirable Model A, but someone is in for a LOT of work and expense replacing the wood in this poor Cabriolet! 'Been there, done that, ain't gonna' do it again! :(

Re: Nothing but a heartbreak It has value!
Needs to be saved! |
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak I think that started out as a 30-31 roadster. the reveals are the give away.
|
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak It certaily looks like someone had a roadster and wanted a coupe. The windshield is a big question. It looks home spun.
|
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak It was a Roadster. The giveaway to me is the Cabriolet has the door handles higher,up,in the reveal, and the roadster has the handle lower down in the door,as this one does. What throws me off though is it has what looks to be a slot for the roll-up window in the top of the door. That could be an illusion in the picture,or it could be just a painted strip on top of the door. But the door handles are just a fact staring me in the face.

Looks like it was a Roadster with a Carson top.

Re: Nothing but a heartbreak Yup. I now see that it could have been a roadster - that fell into the wrong hands!

Re: Nothing but a heartbreak So sad people do this, park a car and let it return to mother nature.

Re: Nothing but a heartbreak I know the cars name ………….George George of the jungle watch out for the tree LOL
|
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak That one was driven into the ground.
|
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak I went by the slant of the windshield but The cabriolet post is more substantial
|
Re: Nothing but a heartbreak Lots of good parts on that roadster/cab/coupe. The most valuable, IMHO, are the wheels.
