Not to brag but I picked up remanufactured by Ford one still in the box for a V12 for twenty bucks awhile back. There still some magic out there. Tim

Yeah, there are still treasures to be found...BUT.....as Kube has pointed out, the (for 32 guys) 32 intake's that's have been cut, plugged and cracked for $299 and up and this particular distributor out shine and out weigh the real bargain finds like yours

Sure. He'd probably part out the box for $16. :) A $15 NOS helmet in 1940s cash would be worth about $300.

There was a post on one of the Facebook sites where a guy needed a distributor rotor for a 1942 Ford 6 cylinder. Guy responds he has one he'll sell him for $40. Michael at Third Gen has NOS ones for $2.95. Pays to do some research sometimes....

Jack, I'm not certain what to make of this posting of yours.
Many folks do not understand what NOS means. EX: The part would have had to been manufactured BY the motor company. In this case Ford. OR, it would have had to been manufactured by a designated / approved supplier of said part to Ford.
In this case, Holley did not supply Ford with distributors. So, it is NOT nos.

Properly described, this part is NORS. In other words, new old replacement stock. IE a part made to fit / replace a stock part but not manufactured by Ford or an approved supplier.

I saw that. Even I know that isn't the real deal. Currently at $670. A little research (bidders) goes a long way to save from big mistakes like this.
