1936 sedan front springs 1 Attachment(s)
Anyone in Southern California have a lowered front spring setup for sale by chance 36 Ford Sedan stock setup before I try to put these shackle bushings in here I wouldn't mind lowering it two to four inches or so or where can I buy one thanks guys

Re: 1936 sedan front springs I would not go the "Mono Leaf" route. I saw a couple of them break. Try Pete and Jakes or Posies. Both may have a reversed eye main leaf. As an alternative you could take the stock spring to a good spring shop and have them de-arch the spring.

Re: 1936 sedan front springs Ok sounds good I'll look those guys up rather just get a complete unit ready to install if I can

A posie spring might not give a 2" drop compared to the old, sagging spring. |

If the pin in the spring eye on the wishbone is good and you prefer stock style shackles a stock pin will work in an aftermarket spring. We usually use modern shackles with poly bushings as the original stuff is worn out. Easier too; than dealing with oversize repop pins. |
Re: 1936 sedan front springs The pin was completely worn out
Found a lower reverse new spring It's on the way How do these shakles install Just a press I assume Got a set from shoot the guy in LA Verne california awhile back ago the shakles kit Ford store maybe |
Re: 1936 sedan front springs If it were me I would use the later type nylon bushing kit for the shackles. Much easier to install.
