I am corresponding with someone
who works at the venue for the car show

He has indicated that several
renowned hot rod and custom cars
are attending from outside of California

I will post when I know more

Gene Winfield Benefit Car Show - November 24th - Paso Robles, California
 

I just got off the phone with
one of the volunteers who
helped organize the event …

All of the car show spaces
have been sold out including
25 additional spaces

The local volunteers donated
car trophies for eight classes

Gene Winfield will personally
choose the winner in each class
and sign their trophy

No vendor spaces are available
Gene Winfield’s personal memorabilia
and swag will be available for sale

The owners of the venue donated
the space and local volunteers
are providing the man and woman
power to put this on

All proceeds go to Gene Winfield’s
care needs - he is staying in California

Do research for recent news about Gene and his "caregiver". Quite surprising, at least to me (but not to many others)!

Gene Winfield now lives
in the Paso Robles, California area.

I had a 30 minute phone conversation
yesterday morning with one of
the event organizers who takes
Gene for his dialysis treatments.

This is a local volunteer effort
to raise funds required to
care for Gene’s hard costs …

The volunteers are quite simply
amazing - they paid for the trophies
to be given out for the car show
that Gene is judging - the owners
of the venue literally handed over
the keys to the place & told the
volunteers to turn off the lights
and lockup when they are done …

This isn’t about how you feel about
hot rods or customs - it is about
helping out a Legend in the
car hobby who needs our help.

If you can’t attend in person
please spread the word - I am
not at liberty to name drop
but fellow car legends from
throughout the car hobby family
are planning to drop by …

Gene Winfield is a living legend and 1 of my heroes I wish I could be there to be present but unfortunately I can’t because I moved from California to Missouri 6 years ago. I know the support he will see from fellow hot rodders and Californians will be great!!!
