29 CCPU door glass removal
 

Getting my 29CCPU ready to send off for paint and would like to remove the door glass to accomplish a better paint job. Can't find anything on YouTube that shows the procedure.
Can anyone here help with some directions ?? My felt channels appear to be glued in and there is no felt channel at the top. Is that the correct installation or ??? Where do you guys recommend purchasing the necessary "re-installation" hardware (good quality felt channels and anything else that would be necessary for a "proper" installation??

I had to replace the driver's door glass some time ago.

You will need to remove the screws on the inside of the upper door frame, and then the portion that retains the glass will slide up and off. It took some gentle encouragement with a wood block and hammer, and some penetrating oil. It's a process....

I bought the glass, channels etc. from Bert's, and that is my only experience. They seemed to fit well enough. Be sure to take pictures while you take it apart so you can get it back together!

And it seems to me that the glass only goes in one way, that is it's not exactly rectangular, more of a parallelogram.
