Is there a way to SET the size of each page (larger)for these old eyes, and for it to stay that way while surfing the site after signing into the forum?

There may be an option depending on how you're accessing this page.

Computer? Tablet? Phone?

What app are you using to view it?

The 'zoom' function on my computer increases all of the page size-wise... including the point size of the font's letters.

Once you open your internet browser, you can adjust the size of the page view by holding down the "Ctrl" button and pressing the + or - keys just to the left of the "Backspace" key which allows you to increase or decrease the size of the page. Try it to see if it works for you.
