Those model A’s that are slanted upward at about 45° angle, I wonder how they kept the oil in the engines? I wonder if they were drained of all the engine oil???

I notice there is a SPARE BUT ONLY THE RIM? How much HELP would that be if one had a FLAT TIRE?

Re: Model AA Car Hauler

This appears to be the transport and delivery of 3 new cars, a new AA truck chassis (cab, no body) AND the delivery of a new AA truck+trailer rig that is hauling it all.

That's why there is no tire on that spare wheel on the trailer. New vehicles were delivered to the dealer without the spare tire/tube, just the rim.

Note the coupe on the trailer closest to the towing truck: no spare tire (just rim). We can't see the backs of the other cars.

A very cool picture.

This picture is so Darn Cool!!!

How far we have come, (not always a good thing) but in safety, comfort, reliability, etc since those days.:D I could not imaging driving that thing a thousand miles a day with my left arm over the top of the wheel, listening to old radio programs, Fox News or Classic Rock on XM Radio. I would however be honored to drive it 100 miles just to know what those guys dealt with. Closes I have come is an old GMC Crackerbox with manual steering & multiple sicks coming out of the floor:p

God Bless
Bill
