Mirror Vibration

Has anyone had the windshield mirror vibrate on a 1928 open vehicle that becomes useless when driving road speed Need advice. Thanks

My 1930 Roadster does this if the windshield (to which the mirror is attached) is propped open. Complete blur. When windshield is closed it’s no problem.

Hello, have a 31 roadster, if top is off mirror shakes get a little if top is on , these open cars are a little flimsy.

65 years ago there was an article in some magazine on how to read the reflection in the mirror due to vibration. There was a certain pattern for a loose rod, another for loose main bearings, etc. In retrospect, I think it was a joke.
