Oversize Clevis Pins Does anyone have a list of clevis pins and standard sizes for the Model A?
Does anyone have a source for oversize clevis pins? Trying to take some of the slop out of my rods. Thx, Jim |

All the pins in the braking system, both service brake and emergency brake, are the same. This is a worthwhile project. Suggest you just order a set of oversized pins and do everything, that way you won’t have to remember what are smaller pins and what are larger. |

Re: Oversize Clevis Pins I use an "R" size drill bit (0.340") to drill worn clevis pin holes, then I use thin-walled brass or steel tubing (brake lines material) with at 0.340" OD and 0.310" ID to bush them back to standard size. That way you do not have to drill out those original clevis holes that are still good, and you end up with all standard sized clevis pins, which in my opinion look better than the oversize ones, for those interested in authenticity (see post #3).
