Door Check Straps for 29 Sport Coupe
 

What kind of door check straps did a 29 sport coupe come with ? My basket case car had no remnants of whatever was originally there. My coupe has plain front fenders - no wells.

My 29 special coupe has door straps made from tne same material as the door panel. I think you can buy the U shape brackets from suppliers. There should be threaded holes for screws.

Oldspert - thanks very much - I do see threaded holes on the door and door post. Now I know what parts I need.

if you have a Snyder`s catalog the check strap you need is A-162592-6 if you have a side mount. is not you need A-162592-8 and you will need the footman loop A-162592-L
