Here's a few samples to see before we head out for this morning's driving tour. So far, nothing but blue skies, warm weather and a great time.

Re: No "Barner" is in Clayton keeping Us posted with Pics That "Blitz Buggy" reminds of an opportunity I blew about 30 years ago. A friend and I got the crazy idea that we wanted a vintage Fire Engine for fun and games. I found a guy in Mazomanie, WI that dealt in used fire equipment. Being located there, he didn't get much traffic, so his prices were reasonable enough. We settled on a 1948 V12 Seagrave 1000 gpm open cab pumper with 2300 road miles in beautiful condition. We were just loading up to leave when he asked us if we wanted to see something neat. It turned out to be '38 or '39 Barrel-nose pickup that had been professionally converted to a 400 gpm pumper, with the pump driven off the front of the engine. This one had 1800 original miles and was in like new condition. Having 6 tons of Seagrave to get back to the Twin Cities, I was kind of overwhelmed and decided to pass on the Ford. The price? $3000.
And no, I did not drop or add any zeros in any of the above numbers. |
Re: No "Barner" is in Clayton keeping Us posted with Pics And............a 1950 Meteor
That was a fine addition from across the bridge. |
Re: No "Barner" is in Clayton keeping Us posted with Pics Beautiful!!

Re: No "Barner" is in Clayton keeping Us posted with Pics Wow! You guys know how to have a good time with old Fords! Thanks so much for the pictures! Enjoy! Missed a good one. But we did drive the 32 dump trucks about 40 miles round trip to a car cruise in tonight. I could use improved headlights!
