Stumbled across this (from the Frito-Lay Company).
I don't know who the gentleman in the picture is, and no indication is given on their website.
(The text refers to C.E. Doolin, but he passed away in 1959, two years before Frito and H.W. Lay merged into Frito-Lay)

We had a kid in high school, that picked up an old divco style Frito truck. Guess what his nickname was?
