Transport thread for members that need or can help haul - no commercial businesses

Please note this thread is to
help members assist other members
with their transport needs.

This is not for commercial business.

I am starting this thread because
the Hershey Fall Swap Meet
is coming up so post if you
can transport to or from
that meet or any other availability
you have with your vehicle or trailer.

Please be specific:

How much room do you have or need ?

Can you transport or do you need transport ?

Are you available or do you need
open or enclosed transport ?

Vehicle - parts - what can you transport ?

From what pick up zip code
to what drop off zip code ?

Date(s) and route(s) available ?

Thanks for looking

Jim

I agree. Reads like someone looking for business. Which is not a crime.

I would rewrite post. What are you trying to do to help members?

Enjoy.

All he was trying to do was link up buyers that might not have enough room to haul their purchases, with people who might have some extra room to help them out.

No where does he ask to transport your stuff. Please read again and see that he is just trying to help.

Transport thread for members that need or can help haul - no commercial businesse

13 years ago I created social relay
groups here on ford Barn and over
on the HAMB but they required
members to join to post.

I grew up in a time when folks
in the hobby extended a hand
to shake yours - not to have
you grease their palm - some
folks hopefully are still like that.

I received a call from Lloyd last
week over on the HAMB - he needs
a radiator moved from California
to Florida - so I thought about
how I could help him connect
with another member that could
help him - I started a thread
on the HAMB:

Here is a link to one of the threads
here on Ford Barn I started in 2011
trying to establish a social relay group:

It is up to members to decide whether
they want help each other out.

:) I agree, if he was 'advertising' you'd know it. He's very clear in his ads.
