Cowl light bulbs- 34 ford
 

The 34 ford I have came with cowl lights but have no bulbs.

I can’t seem to find the part number for the bulbs that fit.

Does anyone know the bulb number that goes into the cowl light- and if possible a vendor to purchase these from?

soonersace,i just got some trade numbered #55 equivalent led bulbs for my '37 parking/running lights. also have leds in headlight bulb sockets from amazon. the headlight bulbs i got from ledlight.com. Tom.

Farmertom, did you just swap the bulbs out or did you have to add any diode inline?

Well the #55 bulbs were about the size of my pinkie. The cowl lights I have seem to be closer to the size of an index finger or thumb.

33 Cowl lights and a bit longer than 34s. I Made a go/no go cardboard guage for checking. found Vintique repros to be 33s Newc

soonersace,i thought those cowl light bulbs would be the #55 like terry,OH had said.wonder if PO installed after market cowl light kit. i dont believe iv'e ever seen any cowl lights larger. you say there were no bulbs installed in cowl lamps when you got the car?.check into the green bible for the '34. and no i did not have to add anything in line for either of the head light or park/run #55 led bulbs. Tom. oh i wil look at my order for the park/run bulbs from amazon and get back.Vehicode 20 pack 6vdc 6.3v white 6000K BA9S base vintage car dash,intrument cluster,gauge,speedo.

if the 55 base is not large enough in diameter the 63 has the next larger base and the glass is larger diameter also. Sorry for any confusion.
