Pitman Arm?

I made the mistake of posting about this in the For Sale section so I’ll start over here. I need a Pitman arm that clamps on to a square sector shaft (like a Model A uses), is the length of a ‘32 arm, and has a hole in it instead of a permanently attached ball. I could cut up a shortened Model A arm, drill, and taper a hole but I would prefer not to cut up a good one. I don’t know if this is an item that would be “stock” for later (later than a Model A) car/truck or if it would be a custom item. I would like some help figuring out what I actually need and where I can buy one. If somebody has one to sell that would be cool too.

It's shorter, but still have to eliminate the ball, or modify your drag link to accept the ball.

That’s what I’m using now, the one I would prefer not to cut up.

Can somebody tell me if what I am describing even exist’s? And what vehicle it would have been on (I think that the square sector shaft is the biggest issue) so that I can buy one? Or, is there no such thing and I am going to have to make one (which I can do but would rather not if I can avoid it)

No such things from the factory. All the A’s used the ball and socket rod ends. You might ask in the A section if there was a certain variety that had a bolt in ball, but I bet it’s rare.

I have four of those type of bolt in ball ends.. Let me know the diameter of the ball and length of the tapered shaft. Got these in a bunch of parts I bought years ago. Three look NOS and there is one used one. Send me a PM.

I bought the tapered reamer from speedway to fix worn balls with the bolt in type
