Are Ford 1935 and 1936 Rear Bumper brackets the same? Three questions:
1. Are 1935 and 1936 Rear Bumper brackets the same? 2. If not, what are the differences between them? 3. Are there multiple versions of the 1936 Rear Bumper brackets? (Mine seem too short for mounting luggage rack) |

Re: Are Ford 1935 and 1936 Rear Bumper brackets the same? Nope, and the front bumpers and outer brackets are also different. That difference is on the outer ends of the brackets and mirror the difference in the bumpers themselves. The brackets take a turn downward on the ends to reflect the full fold over of the ends of the bumpers. '35 bumpers are only folded half way on their ends. That distinction applies to all passenger car bumpers regardless of body type
