You're right! Doesn't look like it's a bad deal at all! Too bad I'm on the east coast......

Can't tell by the pic. What body is it?

Re: nice deal on FB Illinois

It appears to be a Tudor Sedan. A 1928 Model A with a black steering wheel? Hmmm.. Possibly a 1930-31 steering column has been installed to replace the seven-tooth steering box. Or maybe even a 1929 two-tooth box, which would have a black steering wheel. The final possibility would be a 1929 black steering wheel has replaced the red 1928 steering wheel, still keeping the seven-tooth steering box.

Yep, looks like a Tudor. I was thinking late 28 or early 29 due to steering wheel and the non fluted headlight lens. Of course they could have been changed to what was convenient at the time.

Re: nice deal on FB Illinois

the speedo is reading 1000 miles. I believe that was reset when the car was "restored". Seller seems to be a real nice guy. spoke briefly on FB. Have no idea how to pose a link Mr Synch.

Marshall, the choices FB gives you are horrible.

I have seen model As listed as Aspires.............whatever that means.

and then it might be listed for 10k...........would that be better? the price seems very reasonable for what it is. interior doesnt even look bad.

FB has default settings if you don't fill in the boxes,or if they don't recognize what you write in.I've had things come up as automatic trans and 1000 miles because I didn't properly fill in the boxes.Sometimes I have a hard time deciphering their ad forms.Years ago I listed a 54 Studebaker Landcruiser. It showed up as a LeCar with an automatic trans,

When Fb ask for model, scroll down and select Other. Continue answering a couple of questions.
Now go back where you selected other and type in Model A, it will take it then.

This particular car, to make it road worthy it will need , Get it running, Tires and tubes, battery, all the usual tune up and hoses. Front end work, horn, lights, fluids. Figure about 5K to start with.
Too buy this car right...$4,500- $5,000

Amazing that people don't take the time to just clean it up a little bit to try to sell it. That can go a long way...
