Model B water pump

Since the Model B water pump impeller diameter is larger than the Model A, does it flow more water volume than the Model A pump?

...also, I have the short Model B pump for '33-'34; can I use it on a Model A engine with my "B" head with stock fan?

No, the 1933-34 used a different crank pulley and timing gear cover.

Bob is correct but I would like to expand a little. The first picture shows the two pumps, the longer one ('32) is the same length as a Model A pump. It is easy to spot the difference at a swap meet by looking at the spacing of the grease fittings. The next two pictures show the front timing cover used in '33-'34 which moves the generator mount towards the rear to align the generator with the shorter pump. The last photo is the Model A compared to the '33-'34 pulley. If you try to use the shorter pulley I believe it will interfere with the front crossmember. The radiator on a '33-'34 was sloped and this moves the fan back to clear it.

(updated to add photo of '33-'34 versus Model A pulley)

I thought that also, but thanks for the clarification. :( Now I need to come up with a '32 water pump. Too bad - my pump housing looks like it has never been used.

Someone on this site was recently looking for a 'B' pump. I have one but can't find that person. pm me if you are or know of that person.
