Do my eyes deceive me or are they laying boards down so they could drive over a weak spot in that bridge? I’m thinking that this photo was trying to catch that moment where it all goes terribly wrong. They also must have had to draw straws to decide who got to untie all the knots in those ropes when they got where they were going.

Are my eyes also deceiving me? It looks like the rear wheels are a later style (16" perhaps?)

Yes, definitely seems like it has V8 wheels on the back. I also like how they painted EVERYTHING with that green paint. Headlights, cowl lights, taillights and the end of the rear bumper. It’s like they sprayed the entire car then went back with a razor blade to clean the paint off the glass and called it done.
