8BA Tapping

So I've had an open pipe that terminated under the back seat on my '52 Mainline since I got it and I just installed dual exhaust and a pair of Brockman Mellowtones. It sounds great but now I can hear every rattle and clang. There's a tapping sound that's louder on the driver's side that I never noticed before.

I tried to capture the sound I'm hearing in this video:

It's louder on cold startup but it's always there. Any advice?

Sounds a lot like an exhaust leak. Header to block?

Recheck the clamps that hold your mufflers in place. Make sure mufflers are not touching any part of the frame when engine is running.

All I hear is what sounds like valve train noise.

Come to think of it, I never retorqued the header bolts after it ran for awhile. I'll check there first. Thanks!

Be sure to put some anti-seize on those header bolts.
