Thank You 1 Attachment(s)
Gents, wanted to send out a thank you to everyone on here that has recently provided me tips and advice as I've been working on getting my A roadster on the road.
Yesterday I took it in for the inspection that it needs to pass to get it registered, and it passed with no issues! So thanks again, and I'm looking forward to posting more about the adventures with the car this summer. I think the first trip is to the ice cream store this Saturday with my wife beside me and daughter in the rumble seat with her friend. |
Re: Thank You Sounds nice! Enjoy...

Re: Thank You Enjoy running around in it! They are fun cars to play with!

Re: Thank You Have fun, congrats on the inspection!

Re: Thank You Looks like a real survivor! Have fun with it. Ice cream and kids in the rumble seat - what’s not to like about that?
Oh yeah, wife too. Is that about a ‘64 Fairlane (or whatever they called it in Canada) next to it? |
Re: Thank You love the paint. oil it down with some old motor oil........

Re: Thank You Is that a hi-po 289 solid lifter Fairlane there in the back ground too maybe?

Re: Thank You Love the patina. I would never paint that car.
|
Re: Thank You That’s awesome, congrats. Right in time for the summer.

Re: Thank You Thanks guys. I have zero plans on painting it. The brand of the ranch it came off of is still on the passenger door. What do you guys suggest to maintain the patina?
Yes that’s a 64 Fairlane. From the factory it was a 289 automatic car, but now it’s a Tunnelport 427 4spd car. |
