Flathead Machine Shop-Utah

Good afternoon,

Does anyone know of a reputable machine shop in Utah that will do work on flatheads?

Thanks.

Dale

If you are a V-8 Club member check your roster for people in your area and I'm sure they can refer you to a reputable shop. It's one of the advantages of belonging to the club.

Dale, it is C&T Automotive in Orem. They did the machine work on my race motor. I was very happy with them.

Turns out C&T isn't accepting any additional flathead work....

Probably the old timers that knew flatheads and worked there have retired (or worse).

From what I know they don't build flatheads.

Yes, we do more flatheads than anyone in the state. BTW Dorvedahl47pu, I also live in Hooper. One of our employees does as well. We probably already know each other.

We do our own work, we do not "send them out". I don't know who or where you got that from, but they don't know what they are talking about.

We are also grinding camshafts and resurfacing lifters. I have been working with Pete Samuelson (Pete on Ford Barn) over the past 7 years as he was planning to retire. Pete has almost completely retired at this point in time. Contrary to another Ford Barn thread, we did not buy out Pete. We have our own equipment and patterns.
