Hi,
Having no luck finding the square clinch nuts for 40 coupe floorboard. Can find the “D” shape but not square. Anybody know of a source? ThirdGen doesn’t show them Thanks!

I have had to make these in the past. Fairly easy task. Two tiny welds opposite of one another holds the nut in place just fine. Looks factory unless someone really, really, REALLY inspects carefully.

It doesn't appear as if you are restoring this car so why not simply weld a small piece of flat stock to the back, drill and tap?
