Downdraft Choke Cable? I’m looking for suggestions about the best way to deal with the choke when I switch from the Zenith to a Stromberg 48. I assume that a cable will be required, the same as with a Weber installation but I don’t know how to go about attaching it to the carb itself.

Re: Downdraft Choke Cable? I’m not really as stupid as I sound in my previous post, I know that there was a bracket used on the carb to attach the cable but I need to find where to purchase them. I need 2 to fit a 48 and 2 to fit a 97 and 2 to fit an 81. I have already sent a pm to Uncle Max so may get my questions answered there. I’m also trying to connect with Nick the Bandit and may be able to get what I need there as well.

Re: Downdraft Choke Cable? 2 Attachment(s)
Try Stromberg. That is where I find most of my parts. https://stromberg-97.com/product-ind...=linkage-parts

Re: Downdraft Choke Cable? On the other end, I mounted it where the choke/GAV is normally located. No holes were drilled.
