I probably should ask on the 'T' forum (also), but any ideas on this piece? Could just be a replica/fabrication of some sort.

That is interesting for sure. Besides Model-As, I am 'into' early Ts as well since I own an '09, a '14 and a couple of '15s. The Made in USA generally said to have started in 1912, so that possibly dates it somewhat. Could you post a picture of the plate with dimensions??

My guess is that it's a fabrication. The stamping is off centre, I don't think Henry would have allowed that.

The stamping is what I question(ed) too. Just seems out of place. It's small: 2.75" x 1.5".

Notice the "made in USA" uses two different size stamps AND the "S" is printed upside-down. Not at all Ford quality! LRF
