1932 Pickup Dimensions

Hi everyone,

Can someone provide me with the exact dimensions of a '32 pickup? It is just a farm truck but the bed seems longer than the Model A bed that I'm used to.

I want to buy an enclosed trailer to go get it (its in a barn far away currently), and want to make sure I don't go too small.

Thanks!

With its original front bumper, the overall length of a '32 pickup is 175 7/8". The overall length of the bed is 69 3/32".

I hauled 32 pickup home from Kansas City in my 20 ft enclosed trailer with room to spare.

The stock bed on a '32 pickup is in fact longer than the Model A. Dave gave you the correct dimensions for the '32.

How about width? Can it get in a 7' wide trailer. I assume not. Thanks again.

Why would you think that a '32 Ford might be too wide for the average car trailer, open or closed? Trust me, one fits in the same trailer as a 145" wheelbase classic Lincoln, a '57 Thunderbird, etc., etc.

The bed is 46" wide, add another 24" or so for the fenders and running boards to be on the safe side and you have almost 6'.

My current retirement trailer is an H&H Topline, 20 ft long by 101 inches wide. I only haul 32 Fords and an occasional 40. Remember if you drive it in you have to be able to get out of the cab. I've owned lots of enclosed trailers over the last 50 years and the narrower trailers are more of a utility trailer.

My guesstimate as well on the 6’ David as I had to fit 3 vehicles in a 2 car garage in December. Pickup on roller skates to one wall, the gf’s 370z backed in within 6” of the other side and her suv down the middle with room to open the drivers door
