dragster in New Zealand

Well,we had our first meeting in the dragster in NZ on sat and sunday. This was after the street parade in which we drove down the main street
we did seven passes and on the fourth we did our best MPH ever, the on the last we did even better,136.56 MPH at 9.725 on a 9.730 dial in, we won two from three of our races and had a BALL,
The team from Australia took out the trans tasman challenge and the $5000 prisemoney.
we have another meeting this weekend at Masterton on the airfeild.
Ron, JWL and Walt take a bow for your help,
Will drop off to see Trev for coffee tomorrow.

Hi Lawrie, I was talking to you at the Nostalgia drags at Meremere but didnt think I would find you on here, the car sure went great all weekend and was a treat to see her run down the track, Not bad for an Aussie!!!!

Pictured with Lawrie is Bill Ward our Kiwi veteran Flathead Bonneville Campaigner.

Glad to see your improvements but, you are responsible. It requires dedication, motivation, strong desire, lots of money, hard work, and passion. Congratulations!

Nice looking dragster! What do you run for fuel and what is the displacement? If you don't mind telling.
