transmission shifter shafts - ramped or not? 2 Attachment(s)
What was Fords original machining on the two shifter shafts? Were they both unramped. I've read (but never seen proof) that R/1 were ramped but 2/3 unramped. But many nowadays are both ramped. Did Ford change the machining of them if so when ?

Re: transmission shifter shafts - ramped or not? Type 2 case transmission currently disassembled on my workbench (i.e. After 1927 but before July 1928) and NO ramps. Well, maybe "little teeny" triangles, at least one of which might be from wear.
