CLUTCH ADJUSTING TOOL
Part # A-7524 | Model Year 28-31
This handy tool wraps around the clutch pedal so that you can operate the pedal from under the car when adjusting the clutch linkage. U.S.A

How often are you adjusting clutch linkage?? in 50 years of ownership the free play has stayed the same for me, perhaps it is because I put in used ford original parts ?

[QUOTE=Kurt in NJ;2279264]How often are you adjusting clutch linkage??

I'm adjusting my clutch linkage when the assembly broke down in traffic in a very quite neighbored, and the pedal goes all the way to my floor board. Yes, I will gift it to our club after i'm finished. If I use it only once - then i've my moneys worth and might make another member happy.

I try to keep in mind to make a purchase that'll help me and my club members too. Our
clubs members ages are well into the 80's

For the last few years I've thought about making this tool from scrap steel but I'm not sure if it would be easier than my current method of removing the front floor boards and using a floor jack with a piece of 2x4 on end so there's no need to be on the ground.

Which method is easier?

Bill
