Original 1932 pedal assembly

Hello all. I am desperately looking for a set of original 1932 pedals. If not the pedals at least the mounting bracket. I am mechanically restoring my father-in-law's 32 Sport Coupe and found that the previous "Mechanic/Restoration Shop" cut the mounting bracket and used a hydraulic master cylinder I am not familiar with. I'm not sure I will be able to rebuild this setup and want to make it easy for my kids should they need to rebuild it in the future. The K member is still intact and I would like to keep it that way.

ANY help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

DK

Is your intention to revert to the original mechanical brakes?

Cuz you are a new member here. To make it harder for internet scammers to respond to ads, this site won't let you respond until you have made 10 posts. Just make a few more dummy posts, then you should be able to respond.

If you end up keeping hydraulics (depending on how/where the car is going to be used it might be a good idea) here is how I did it using original pedals. Too bad your previous owners didn't't do it this way.

PS, You should put your general location in your profile.

Re: Original 1932 pedal assembly

IF you want to keep the existing hydraulic setup ("if it aint broke, dont fix it") you may be able to source the cylinders from a mainstream parts store IF there are casting numbers on said cylinders.
