I think that is a TT box not AA, no wheel well.

Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction 2 Attachment(s)
I think that is a 31 wide body bed based on the tail gate and hinges. My 30-31 bed has no wheel well.
Before and after. |
Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction Either A or T, it’s worth buying.
|
Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction FYI, There is a 10% buyers premium plus sales tax, so figure that into your bid price.
|
Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction There is also free storage for up
to a year which is very unusual. Jim |

The bed in question is for a TT big truck express not the small pickup. |
Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction The ad said Model A Pickup.

Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction How many folks posting claiming this is
not a Model A pick up bed have actually clicked on the link - gone to the listing and reviewed the description and all of the images ? ….. I am not - nor do I profess to be an expert in determining what a Model A steel truck bed turned into a trailer would look like …. But - lacking actual measurements of the bed listed for sale - it does not seem logical that an accurate conclusion can be reached …. Jim |

Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction So there were never any Model A

Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction TT on BAT - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1924-ford-model-t-7/
AA Express - https://topclassiccarsforsale.com/fo...t-rat-rod.html AA PU at Barrett Jackson - with wheel wells - https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...-PICKUP-199251 Never - trust what you read in an auction listing. Decide for yourself if it's correct and what you need. |
Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction It is NOT a bed for the small A pickup. It could be mistaken for the express bed for the AA though, but it has no wheel indents and no bolt holes to bolt the rear fenders on.The TT express bed has the fenders mounted to brackets mounted to the frame, not to the side of the body like the AA express bed did. This is for the big AA trucks, not the pickups on the passenger car chassis.

Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction Here is a link to the different AA express bodies.

I found this in a field yesterday. The gentleman who lived there gave me a tour. The insides of the box still held the tools and parts used by the telephone company.

Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction There is a lot of old trucks on that lineup. It is an hour away from me, I wouldn’t mind going and walking around but not that kind of auction.

Re: Very Rare Model A Steel Pick Up Box At Nebraska Auction 2 Attachment(s)
Did the TT and AA use the same bed? The auction bed agrees with the picture of this AA bed where it's flat where the fender mounts. Did AA with dual rear wheels get the indent for the wheel to clear and single rear wheels not get it?
