Polishing wheels for angle grinder Has anyone had satisfactory results polishing metal
with the wool-felt wheels advertised on U-tube or Temu ??? |
Re: Polishing wheels for angle grinder Depends on what condition the metal is in before you start. I use the wool-felt wheels with different rouges as final steps.
https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showp...5&postcount=12 I use various abrasive nylon wheels for first and second passes. These wheels are good for getting into tight spots. https://dicoproducts.com/products.php?gid=5 Another thread on polishing: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...ight=polishing |
Re: Polishing wheels for angle grinder Great info
Thanks |
Re: Polishing wheels for angle grinder You must remember that angle grinders commonly turn at 8500 RPM, which will rapidly heat up your work. A polished surface can't hide a heat warped panel.
